Assistant Instructor – Owen Brown

Owen Brown is  returning this year as an assistant instructor. Owen is very familiar with maintaining good sail shape, as sails are just vertical wings – and Owen is studying to be a pilot at Auburn U.

Assistant Instructor – Rowan Magee

Rowan Magee has been an SSA camper for years transitioned to assistant instructor last year. He’s savvy at the helm, great on the trapeze, and great with the squirt gun while playing noodle economy out on the lake on airless days! During the non-sailing-season (boo!) he studies at Dartmouth.

Assistant Instructor – Rose Kendrick

Rose Kendrick returns to SSA after years as a camper and instructor. Rose brings tons of coaching experience (from the gymnastics world) and combines that savvy with mad practical sailing skills. She’s studying Engineering Physics at Eastern Michigan and is also a D1 diver on their team. Great with kids, great in the boat. Ask her to do flips off the dock!

Assistant Instructor – Hadley Murray

Hadley Murray is returning to SSA as an instructor as well. Another long-time SSA camper, Hadley brings enthusiasm and experience on the water!

Griffin Brown rejoins us this year as an assistant instructor, too. Griffin is a long-time SSA camper and brings unstoppable enthusiasm, goodwill, and great work with the campers. Look for him out the lake on a Hobie 16 with Owen and Rowan!
